The greatest TV show of all time is The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Why? Because all of its white characters are complete lunatics.
But The Fresh Prince really didn't go far enough. Why? Five reasons.
The Bel Air chapter of the KKK never attempted to lynch Will
Black people have to deal with the KKK on a daily basis--but in the fantasy world of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, there is no KKK. The show should've had an episode where Will and Carlton get home from a day of volunteering at the orphanage and children's hospital, only to find the entire white Bel Air community dressed up in KKK robes outside of their door. I mean, how else are we supposed to known about the black experience in America? (Aside from asking Matt Damon about it. He knows. After all, he's a Hollywood liberal.)
The show wasn't set in the 18th century south
The show should've been The Fresh Prince of Atlanta, and been about a slave named Will who was moved from Williamsburg to Atlanta, and then killed his new master, as well as a bunch of other white people. And Will should've been played by an actor with much darker skin than Will Smith. When Hollywood casts a black person to play a role, they should go with someone who's at least as dark skinned as Eddie Murphy. As for lighter skinned black actors, they should be given the roles of white characters. For instance, if Hollywood is doing a movie about Abraham Lincoln, Will Smith should play Thomas Jefferson, and Eddie Murphy should play Frederick Douglass.
No white people died
All TV shows--not just black sitcoms--should kill off at least one white character per episode.
They never showed white people eating collard greens or watermelon.
The "black people love collard greens and watermelon" stereotype is ridiculous and offensive. That's why TV shows need to show white characters eating those foods any time they're on screen. The US government should require all TV manufacturers to burn the image of Andy Griffith eating watermelon onto all TVs.
They never showed white people doing crack
Way too many people associate crack cocaine with black people. The Fresh Prince of Bel Air never countered that belief by making all of its white characters crack addicts. When I watch TV, I want to see white people doing crack. Especially when I watch Dan Rather on the news.
The show wasn't called Republicans Are Racist
Republicans are racist. The show should've been called Republicans Are Racist--and every episode should've mentioned that Fox News is racist Republican propaganda, and not news.
